Homemade Raw Butter

Tonight I did something wild & crazy…. I made raw butter!

How did I do this you ask? I obtained raw cream from a local dairy, put some in a jar & shook it until my arms were about to fall off… Then I shook it some more!

After about 10 minutes I had a large solid lump. I drained the buttermilk (the liquid leftover after butter forms) into a jar for future use. I then added a tiny bit of salt to my butter & proceeded to slather it on to the banana bread I had just baked. Yum!
