Shoes

Posted on: 02/09/2011

At what age do most children learn to tie their shoes? My son is 7 & I worry that he may have missed that milestone. It wouldn’t be a big deal in most cases, just start teaching him now about bunny ears & let him catch up. However, he’s a temperamental child, which means things like that can take a good while to learn as he often lets his frustration get the best of him.

To top it off though, his feet are rather big for his age. He’s almost outgrown all the velcro style shoes available & of course he doesn’t like slip-on shoes. That only leaves… laces! I think the next few weeks will be rough on us all while we adjust to shoe tying.
